TV Hero
While I was watching tv this week I realized that Dr. Drew, of Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew is a tv hero. He does a lot for these b list celebrities on the show. He really cares about them getting better. Its kinda funny because you will see one of the people on the show having a problem at 2 am and Dr. Drew will come to the center, clearly looking like he just got woken up at the middle of the night but he’s there. Sure you can say that the show may be completely real, as far as him being the only doctor for all of these people, but thats not important. The important thing is that he is not only helping the people on the show, but along with the PSA’s he’s made about helping people with addictions, he is really helping the community. VH1 is a fairly popular channel for today’s 18-30yr olds and if his show or his public service announcements get some viewer to rehab then he is definitely a hero on tv as well as real life.
